Welcome to the Eldon Pothole Club website. Based in Derbyshire, members of 'the Eldon' have been
active underground for over fifty years. Today Eldon members are
involved in a wide range of cave and mine-related activities including
sport
caving and exploration in the UK and abroad, cave rescue, cave
diving, instruction, photography and conservation.

Club
Membership
The club is always
keen
to welcome new members who are offered comprehensive training
during a period of
aspirancy. By the end of this period they are asked to demonstrate that
they are safe and capable in the vertical cave environment before
being voted in as full members at the AGM.
All members benefit from use of club tackle, use of the club library,
regular
newsletters and third party
liability insurance. If you wish to apply for membership please
complete the following application form
and come along to a monthly meeting (first Thursday of each month at
The Bowling Green Inn, Smalldale, Bradwell, Derbyshire at 9.00pm)
or contact Sam Townsend
(Telephone 0114 255 1236 or 0788 799 2088).
